- Justice Gian Parkash Mittal resigned from the office of the Judge of Delhi High Court, in pursuance of provision (a) to clause (1) of article 217 of the Indian Constitution.
- France announced ban on earphones for Drivers and Cyclists. Those found using earphones while driving a vehicle or riding a cycle will be fined 135 Euro (214 dollar) and lose three license points.
