Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) 2016 Selection Procedure for ASM, Goods Guard, TA, CA, ECRC etc:
  • Single Written Examination (Computer Based Exam)
  • Aptitude test, Skill Test, Typing Test (depends on post or category depends on the Post or category)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Fitness Test
The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and regional languages and the duration of the examination will be 90 minutes with approximately 100 questions.

Post wise Selection Procedure:
  • Single Common Written Examination for all the posts.
  • No Extra test for Goods Guard, ECRC, Traffic Apprentice and Commercial Apprentice
  • Typing Test / Skill Test  and followed by Verification of Documents are conducted for Jr Accounts Assistant Cum Typist (JAAC), Sr Clerk Cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper.
  • Aptitude Test and followed by Verification of Documents are conducted for the posts of Assistant Station Master and Traffic Assistant.
Note:  There shall be 1/3 negative marking in written examinations and 1 marks shall be deducted for 3 wrong answer.
