UP Police Constable Bharti Recruitment 2016 is out for 28916 vacant posts of Constable (Male) and 5800 vacant post of Constable (Female).

First your Percentage Marks in 10th and Percentage Marks x 2 in 12th will be added. Then Merit list will be made for appearing in Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Then if you qualified in PST and PET you will be called for written examination. Then Final Merit will be published.
10th Class Percentage marks will be treated as out of 100 Marks. for example if you have 65% then your marks will be : 65
12th class Percentage marks will be treated as double of your marks out of 200 Marks. for example if you have 62% marks in 12th then your total marks will be: 62 x 2 = 144
Total Marks in 10th + 12th = 65+144 i.e. 209 out of 300
Now Marks for Physical Efficiency Test : 200
if you completed race in 17 minutes you will get full marks i.e. 200 , if you will complete race after 17 minutes and before 27 minutes your marks will be: 120
Now your Physical marks and class 10th + 12th marks will be added and merit list will be published accordingly.

- 4.8 Km. Race in 27 Minutes for Males.
- 2.4 Km. Race in 18 Minutes for Females.
